The international Plasma CoE Network was established in 2004 by plasma research groups from across the world (France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Netherlands). The Centers of Excellence (CoE) for Plasma Science and Technology are based on multiple group cooperations. The International Plasma CoE Network has already stimulated international workshops and conference and promoted the exchange of students as well as staff on specific plasma-oriented collaborative research.
In May 2006, research groups from Italy, the UK and the USA joined the growing International Plasma CoE Network. The International Plasma CoE Network welcomes new members so as to expand its global reach.
